Kool piece. I like the little rays if light beaming into the ocean from he finger tips! Nice touch! I think the moon is a little centered though and would like to see a tiny bit more work on it with maybe a little more moonlight shining down.

Nice mermaid design. I really like the face and human part. I'm not crazy about the over/under view. I don't think the piece needed it and it make it look like she on a floating rock, (WITCH!). A little bit more diversity in your mountains would have been nice. Good work.

Augh! There were going to be glowing blue fishies under the water and a kelp forest, and more definition on the 'under' part of the rock and I wanted to do more with the tail as well, but alas...no time...so no glowing blue fishies

I think it's a great "sketch" that could be a superb piece with more detail.
I love her pose and her humaness (is that a word?) . I agree with the over under view from above. I think it was thrown on to be a larger image (more to spec)and if instead she was lower and her tail did a curve up or something that would have worked just as well. I hope you finish this sometime, you may get an email from me.

love her pose, nice scheme of colours, gorgeous face and her face tattoo. I would advice for you to add highlights cos' the artwork looks too dark and you should rework her fins cos' the fins are the most important part of a mermaid. great job overall. give a pat on your back
